The pin tap is a special fishing tool making thread in tube dropped object such as drill pipe and oil tube. The pin taps are made of high strength alloy steel forging materials and heat treated. It is made with chip groove so as to make threads. The box tap is a special external fishing tool which is engaged on the outside wall of tubing objects such as oil tube and drill pipe.
